Travel to Haiti Should Be Tax Deductible

Simplistic? Even crass? Yup. But seems to me, Canada has money, Haiti has warm winters. Just is case there is any confusion, Canada does not have warm winters .

So here is what I propose. Make all credit card transactions in Haiti, for restaurants, lodging, local transportation and related services,  Canadian income tax deductible. Forward the information to the Haitian government for local income tax enforcement.

It would be win, win. Canadians would win because they get warm winters at affordable prices. Haiti would win because they would get money.

Just in case there is any confusion, Haiti does not have money.
